About The Position

The LPN helps maintain patient flow by rooming patients, updating visit status in the electronic health record, verifying patient identity, collecting and documenting vital signs, performing focused nursing observations, taking patient photos and leg measurements, and completing clinical documentation such as HPI, screenings, and consents. The LPN prepares, stocks, and turns over exam and procedure rooms; sets up for sterile and non-sterile procedures; participates in the Time Out process; and assists clinicians with patient positioning, skin preparation, sterile technique, medication preparation, and medication administration as permitted by state law and organizational policy. The role also includes infection prevention and safety practices, instrument processing, autoclave maintenance, inventory management, patient education, and reinforcement of provider instructions. The LPN completes required education and competency validation, follows Standard Operating Procedures, remains flexible to float between clinic locations, and supports team members to promote effective clinic operations and exceptional patient care. The New York Market is expected to launch in Early 2027. The role requires out-of-state travel for up to four weeks in one of UVVC's existing markets.
