About The Position
A rehabilitation facility in Laconia, New Hampshire is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 9-week local contract assignment. The role involves delivering direct patient care in a rehabilitation setting, supporting recovery goals, and contributing to positive clinical outcomes through compassionate and consistent nursing care. Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Prior experience in rehabilitation or long-term care preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
- Safe medication administration competency
- Knowledge of infection control and safety practices
- Ability to work in a structured rehabilitation environment
- Strong communication and documentation abilities
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to rehabilitation patients under RN supervision
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor, document, and report patient conditions and vital signs
- Support individualized care and rehabilitation plans
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
- Collaborate effectively with RNs and interdisciplinary care teams
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and dignity at all times
- Follow infection control and facility safety protocols
- Respond promptly to changes in patient condition
