About The Position
This position involves working within a multi-specialty environment including General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Urology, Dermatology, and Bariatrics/Weight Management. The clinic operates from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The unit includes a dedicated charge nurse. The clinic has its own lab department for phlebotomy services. Floating will occur within the department only, as Advanced Practice Providers (APP) will make hospital rounds. Orientation duration is dependent on specialty, averaging 3-4 days. Scrub color: Navy Blue. Free parking is available in designated areas.
Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required.
- Completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing.
- Minimum 2 years of Dermatology experience.
- Basic nursing knowledge with a strong emphasis on Dermatology.
- Scribing experience is mandatory.
- Familiarity with dermatological terminology, dot phrases, and skin examinations is essential.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Urology, and Bariatrics/Weight Management.
Responsibilities
