About The Position

This per diem Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position plays an essential support role in providing basic medical care, health monitoring, and medication management for clients in recovery from substance use disorders. The role involves maintaining accurate nursing notes, med logs, incident reports, and progress notes, as well as documenting communication with providers, referrals, and follow-up care. The LPN will collaborate with case managers, primary care providers, outpatient addiction treatment centers, and mental health professionals, participating in team meetings and working with clinical and recovery staff to help maintain a structured, safe, and recovery-oriented environment. This position requires covering Orange and Greenfield.

Requirements

  • Active licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the Massachusetts Board of Registration (required).
  • Experience with substance use disorder programs.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of ethics and legal parameters of working with substance abuse clients.
