About The Position

We are looking for Licensed Practical Nurses LPNs to join our established team at Morningside House of Exton Personal Care Home. This position provides licensed nursing services to residents and supervision of other staff positions.

Requirements

Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse LPN of the state.

Nice To Haves

12 hours every other weekend, one 3-11 shift weekly.

Responsibilities

May be responsible for medication administration for the residents in compliance with Federal & State regulations.
May be responsible for the admissions of new residents to include all admission assessments and documentation.
Responsible for ensuring services are provided in accordance with Resident specific service plans.
Provide general consultation regarding health‐related concerns within the community.
Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently when listening, speaking, reading and writing.
Notify physicians and/or family of any change in resident’s health and provides proper documentation.
Respond quickly to all emergencies.
Work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and effectively while maintaining close communication with all departments and staff members.
Provide educational meetings for residents and staff and attend all required training, in‐service and staff meetings.
May provide oversight and direction for care staff.
Understand roll in the Safety & Disaster Plan.
Maintain confidentiality of residents’ and prospective residents’ information.
Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment and the achievement of safe working practices.
Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families and co‐workers.
Adhere to all policies and procedures of Morningside Elite Management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
