About The Position
US Foot & Ankle Specialists is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Forked River, NJ. In this role, you’ll work closely with physicians to provide high-quality patient care, assist with in-office procedures, and support daily clinic operations in a fast-paced podiatry practice. We are committed to supporting our team with hands-on job training, ongoing clinical in-service training, and a positive, collaborative work environment.
Requirements
- Active LPN license required
- Completion of an accredited LPN program or 1+ year of clinical experience
- Strong communication, multitasking, and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with HIPAA, EMR systems, and medical terminology
- Willingness to travel between nearby clinic locations if needed
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for exams by recording vital signs, medical history, and medications
- Assist physicians with in-office procedures including injections, wound care, nail care, and minor surgeries
- Apply dressings, medical strappings, and durable medical equipment (DME)
- Perform or assist with digital X-rays and lab specimen preparation
- Update patient records in the EMR and assist with prescription requests and insurance verification
- Educate patients on post-procedure care and provide follow-up communication
- Maintain clean, stocked, and sterile exam rooms and procedure areas
