Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - Lakewood Clinic
About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) provides nursing care under the direct supervision of a provider or registered nurse at the Lakewood Clinic. The role records care provided, reports changes in a patient’s condition to the appropriate person, and consults with an RN or provider when uncertain about a nursing or medical act. It also provides basic health instructions and reinforces teaching provided by other members of the health team. This is a part-time position of 0.50 FTE (20 hours per week), working day shifts Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. No weekends or holidays are required. The position is located at 15481 Commercial Rd, Lakewood, WI 54304.
Requirements
- For the LPN option, a Wisconsin LPN license is required.
- For the Medical Assistant option, AAMA or CCMA certification is required at the time of hire, or within three months of hire if the candidate graduated from an accredited Medical Assisting program.
