About The Position

Helen Newberry Joy Hospital & Healthcare Center is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Gibson Family Health Center in Newberry, Michigan. The role provides direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction of a physician or non-physician provider and involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. The position is part-time, 64 hours bi-weekly. Hourly pay is $18.62–$23.25 for a CMA and $21.89–$27.34 for an LPN. Benefits depend on job status.

Requirements

• CMA certificate or LPN license.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously while staying organized.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with initiative to identify opportunities and take action.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of and commitment to continuous quality improvement principles and practices.

Nice To Haves

• ACLS certification.
• PALS certification.
