About The Position
Provide compassionate nursing care to long-term care residents during night shifts, including medication administration, resident monitoring, and support of daily clinical operations in a skilled nursing environment.
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required
- Strong medication administration and clinical documentation skills
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to facility needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently in a long-term care setting
- No scheduling restrictions required
Nice To Haves
- Long Term Care (LTC) or skilled nursing experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to LTC residents per care plans and physician orders
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Monitor resident conditions and report changes to RN/physician
- Maintain accurate documentation and charting
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and resident assessments
- Ensure compliance with infection control and facility policies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Promote resident safety, dignity, and comfort during night shifts
