Requirements

Current, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN within the state in which you work.
Current CPR certification.
Basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including electronic health record software.

Responsibilities

Assess resident’s needs.
Develop an individualized care plan.
Administer nursing care.
Evaluate nursing care.
Supervise nursing assistants and other personnel in the delivery of nursing care in a SNF setting.
Ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times, in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
Follow all health, sanitary and infection control policies.
Maintain established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.
