About The Position

Doug Anderson Plumbing & Heating in Chelmsford, MA is hiring a Licensed Plumber to join our service or construction teams. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for residential plumbing work, primarily service-focused, diagnosing issues, performing precise repairs, and delivering solutions homeowners can trust. Depending on your role, you'll specialize as a service technician, handling customer-facing repairs and maintenance, or as a construction/installation technician, completing high-quality system installations. You will ensure all work meets code and exceeds expectations, communicate clearly with homeowners, build trust through your expertise, and use ServiceTitan to manage quotes, invoices, and documentation. Licensed service technicians participate in an on-call rotation, while installation technicians follow a standard schedule without on-call duties.

Requirements

• Valid Massachusetts Journeyman and/or Master plumbing license
• 2+ years of field experience in plumbing systems
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Working knowledge of current code requirements
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Familiarity with power tools and safe work practices
• Ability to work independently or as part of a crew

Nice To Haves

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
• Experience with ServiceTitan or similar dispatch software
