About The Position

Care Initiatives is hiring a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to join their team at Heritage Specialty Care, a 171-bed Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Heritage Specialty Care includes a CCDI unit and became Seasons Memory Care Certified in 2026. As the largest single operator of quality nursing homes in Iowa, Care Initiatives is a nonprofit healthcare organization with over forty skilled nursing communities, eight hospice offices, and an internal staffing agency. They are committed to providing exceptional care and support. This role is an opportunity for a dedicated and engaged leader to make meaningful impacts.

Requirements

Valid Iowa Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license in good standing required, or ability to activate NHA licensure in Iowa.
Proven leadership experience in skilled nursing is highly desired.
Ability to build relationships and lead a team through change with professionalism and empathy.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned skilled nursing facility to ensure quality of care and operational excellence.
Lead and support teams by fostering collaborations, compassion, continuous improvement, and staff development.
Develop and execute operational strategies to maintain high-quality resident care and positive outcomes.
Promote a strong culture of service, accountability, and resident-centered care.
