About The Position

Care Initiatives is hiring a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to join their team at Parkridge Specialty Care, a 90 bed Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), located in Pleasant Hill, Iowa. This is an opportunity for an LNHA within the Des Moines metropolitan area to make a difference every day as a vital part of the senior living leadership team. Care Initiatives is the largest single operator of quality nursing homes in Iowa, a nonprofit healthcare organization with over forty (40) skilled nursing communities, eight (8) hospice offices, and an internal staffing agency. They are committed to providing exceptional care and support at every stage of the healthcare journey and are looking for a dedicated and engaged leader to make meaningful impacts.

Requirements

  • Valid Iowa Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license in good standing required, or ability to activate NHA licensure in Iowa.
  • Proven leadership experience in skilled nursing is highly desired.
  • Ability to build relationships and lead a team through change with professionalism and empathy.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned skilled nursing facility to ensure quality of care and operational excellence.
  • Lead and support teams by fostering collaborations, compassion, continuous improvement, and staff development.
  • Develop and execute operational strategies to maintain high-quality resident care and positive outcomes.
  • Promote a strong culture of service, accountability, and resident-centered care.
