About The Position

Western Hills Retirement Village, a Caring Place Healthcare Group Facility, is seeking a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead their well-established campus. This facility offers 110 skilled nursing/LTC beds and 90 independent living apartments and has been serving the Cincinnati community for over 30 years. The LNHA will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, leading and developing department directors, and representing the facility in external meetings. The role involves managing the state survey process, conducting facility inspections, upholding resident rights, and supporting staff training and development. The ideal candidate will foster a positive environment for residents, families, and team members, while ensuring adherence to infection control, safety, and HIPAA regulations.

Requirements

  • Current Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) license required
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Healthcare Administration or Business
  • Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in a healthcare setting
  • Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and operational standards
  • Proven leadership, team development, and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional, calm, and compassionate leadership style
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
  • Lead, develop, and support department directors to ensure high-quality, ethical care and operational excellence
  • Collaborate with executive leadership and provide updates on facility performance and initiatives
  • Represent the facility in meetings with external agencies, partners, and community organizations
  • Manage the state survey process, including preparation, response, and plan of correction implementation
  • Conduct routine facility inspections to ensure policies and procedures are followed
  • Ensure resident rights are upheld and address concerns, complaints, and grievances appropriately
  • Support recruitment, hiring, and development of leadership staff
  • Oversee staff training programs, including onboarding and ongoing education
  • Develop and implement facility-wide policies and support department-level procedures
  • Foster a positive, supportive environment for residents, families, and team members
  • Ensure adherence to infection control, safety, and HIPAA regulations
