About The Position

Under the direction of the Director and/or Nurse Manager, the Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) provides direct and indirect patient care to a group of patients, ranging from simple to complex, for the specialty population on the unit or department. The LNA works under the guidance and supervision of the registered nurse. The position is per diem.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Completion of a certificate program for Licensed Nursing Assistant.
• Evidence of the ability to perform as a member of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care duties for a group of patients, from simple to complex, for the unit or department's specialty population.
• Provide indirect patient care duties for a group of patients, from simple to complex, for the unit or department's specialty population.
• Work under the guidance and supervision of the registered nurse.
