About The Position

Under the direction of the Director and/or Nurse Manager, the Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) provides direct and indirect patient care to a group of patients, ranging from simple to complex, for the specialty population on the unit or department. The LNA works under the guidance and supervision of a registered nurse.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Completion of a Licensed Nursing Assistant certificate program.
• Evidence of the ability to perform as a member of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care duties for a group of patients.
• Care for patients with needs ranging from simple to complex within the unit or department's specialty population.
• Work under the guidance and supervision of the registered nurse.
