About The Position
The Licensed Nurse @ The Fitzgerald provides exemplary nursing services to residents. This role involves assessing residents' needs, monitoring their well-being, providing direct resident care activities, assisting with medication management and care plans, and participating in performance improvement processes. The nurse will also be responsible for demonstrating knowledge of emergency procedures and documenting nursing interventions.
Requirements
- Be a graduate of an accredited RN/LVN/LPN program
- Have a minimum of one-year experience as a nurse in a senior care setting
- Current active, unencumbered Nursing License in the state of practice (LVN/RN/LPN)

Responsibilities
- Assess residents to identify their physical, psychosocial and environmental needs
- Monitor residents’ well-being and report any changes in condition
- Provide resident care activities under the direction of the Assisted Living Director
- Assist with Medication Management Program
- Assist with care plans
- Participate in the Assisted Living performance improvement process
- Demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures and respond appropriately
- Document evaluation of nursing interventions including resident response
