About The Position
The Licensed Nurse at The Fitzgerald provides exemplary nursing services to residents. The role includes assessing residents’ needs, monitoring their well-being, providing care under the direction of the Assisted Living Director, supporting medication management and care plans, contributing to performance improvement, responding to emergencies, and documenting nursing interventions and resident responses.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited RN/LVN/LPN program.
- Minimum of one year of experience as a nurse in a senior care setting.
- Current active, unencumbered nursing license in the state of practice (LVN/RN/LPN).
- Bring a smile to work every day.

- Assisted living and/or dementia experience.
Responsibilities
- Assess residents to identify their physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs.
- Monitor residents’ well-being and report changes in condition.
- Provide resident care activities under the direction of the Assisted Living Director.
- Assist with the Medication Management Program.
- Assist with care plans.
- Participate in the Assisted Living performance improvement process.
- Demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures and respond appropriately.
- Document evaluations of nursing interventions, including resident responses.
