About The Position

The Caregiver at Heritage Greens is responsible for delivering quality care by encouraging independence and supporting each resident’s physical, social, cultural, and intellectual well-being. This is a part-time, first-shift position scheduled for 7 a.m.–3 p.m. and every other weekend. Compensation is $17.50–$18.00 per hour, depending on experience. The role requires a Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) or an 80-hour PCA certificate. Candidates must meet state training requirements and/or certifications. First Aid and CPR certification may be required. All employment offers are subject to successfully completing a drug screen, TB test, and background check. Requirements

Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) or an 80-hour PCA certificate is required.
Must meet state training requirements and/or certifications.
First Aid certification and CPR may be required.
High school education or GED equivalent is preferred.
Completion of a nursing assistant course.
Ability to bring a positive attitude to work and be a strong team player.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with simple requests as needed.
Supervise or assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, ambulation, and other activities.
Provide companionship and develop strong relationships with residents.
Respond to emergencies according to policies and procedures.
Document care provided to residents consistently.
Provide input to help ensure resident individual service plans are current.
Regularly review the 24-hour report and care checklists.
