About The Position

Marquis Companies includes Post-Acute Rehab and Assisted Living Facilities, Marquis at Home, Consonus Rehab, and Consonus Pharmacy. Full-Time, Part-Time and On-Call Positions are available. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will be responsible for administering medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, nurse supervisor, charge nurse, and/or Director of Nursing Services. Job duties include administering medications to residents; refilling and cleaning the stock cart; administering medications in accordance with established nursing standards, policies, procedures and practices of the facility and the requirements of the state; and other nursing duties as assigned. As a Registered Nurse (RN), your nursing and leadership skills will ensure quality nursing care is provided to residents, and you will direct the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Assistants. Job duties include meeting with assigned nursing staff and support personnel to plan the shifts’ services, programs, and activities.

Requirements

  • Must be a licensed RN or LPN for the appropriate State.
  • Strong computer skills are needed for use of our electronic medical records system.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a healthcare setting working with the geriatric population is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities
