About The Position

Marquis Companies is a growing and dynamic healthcare organization with over 30 years in business, employing thousands across California, Oregon, and Nevada. Our facilities include Post-Acute Rehab and Assisted Living Facilities, Marquis at Home, Consonus Rehab, and Consonus Pharmacy. We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) for part-time night shifts on Fridays and Saturdays. As an LPN, you will administer medications to residents as ordered, refill and clean the stock cart, and perform other nursing duties. As an RN, you will provide quality nursing care, direct nursing assistants, and plan shift services, programs, and activities.

Requirements

  • Must be a licensed RN or LPN for the appropriate State.
  • Strong computer skills are needed for use of our electronic medical records system.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a healthcare setting working with the geriatric population is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Administering of medications to the residents as ordered by the attending physician, the nurse supervisor, charge nurse, and/or Director of Nursing Services.
  • Refilling and cleaning the stock cart.
  • Administering medications in accordance with established nursing standards, policies, procedures and practices of the facility and the requirements of the state.
  • Other nursing duties as assigned.
  • Meeting with assigned nursing staff and support personnel to plan the shifts’ services, programs, and activities (for RNs).
  • Ensuring that quality nursing care is provided to the residents (for RNs).
  • Directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Assistants (for RNs).
