About The Position

Marquis Companies has been in business since 1989 and is a growing healthcare organization with several thousand employees across California, Oregon, and Nevada. It includes Post-Acute Rehab and Assisted Living Facilities, Marquis at Home, Consonus Rehab, and Consonus Pharmacy. This role is for a Licensed Nurse (LPN/RN). As an LPN, you will administer medications to residents as ordered by medical staff and supervisors, refill and clean stock carts, and perform other nursing duties in accordance with facility and state standards. As an RN, you will use your nursing and leadership skills to ensure quality resident care and direct the day-to-day functions of Nursing Assistants, including planning shifts' services, programs, and activities with nursing staff and support personnel. Full-Time, Part-Time and On-Call Positions are available.

Requirements

  • Must be a licensed RN or LPN for the appropriate State.
  • Strong computer skills are needed for use of our electronic medical records system.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a healthcare setting working with the geriatric population is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, the nurse supervisor, charge nurse, and/or Director of Nursing Services (LPN).
  • Refill and clean the stock cart (LPN).
  • Administer medications in accordance with established nursing standards, policies, procedures and practices of the facility and the requirements of the state (LPN).
  • Perform other nursing duties as assigned (LPN).
  • Ensure that quality nursing care is provided to the residents (RN).
  • Direct the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Assistants (RN).
  • Meet with assigned nursing staff and support personnel to plan the shifts’ services, programs, and activities (RN).
