About The Position

Marquis Companies, established in 1989, is a dynamic healthcare organization with thousands of employees across California, Oregon, and Nevada, encompassing Post-Acute Rehab and Assisted Living Facilities, Marquis at Home, Consonus Rehab, and Consonus Pharmacy. This role is for a Licensed Nurse (LPN/RN) and offers full-time, part-time, and on-call positions. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will be responsible for administering medications to residents as ordered by physicians and nursing staff, managing the stock cart, and performing other nursing duties in accordance with facility and state standards. As a Registered Nurse (RN), your role will involve leadership, ensuring high-quality nursing care for residents, and directing the daily activities of Nursing Assistants, including planning shift services, programs, and activities with your assigned team.

Requirements

  • Must be a licensed RN or LPN for the appropriate State
  • Strong computer skills are needed for use of our electronic medical records system

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a healthcare setting working with the geriatric population is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Administering medications to the residents as ordered by the attending physician, the nurse supervisor, charge nurse, and/or Director of Nursing Services (LPN)
  • Refilling and cleaning the stock cart (LPN)
  • Administering medications in accordance with established nursing standards, policies, procedures and practices of the facility and the requirements of the state (LPN)
  • Ensuring that quality nursing care is provided to the residents (RN)
  • Directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Assistants (RN)
  • Meeting with assigned nursing staff and support personnel to plan the shifts’ services, programs, and activities (RN)
  • Other nursing duties as assigned (LPN)
