About The Position

Southern Mortgage Solutions is a growing, 100% remote mortgage brokerage seeking experienced, self-generating Mortgage Loan Originators. The company was built by a producing Loan Officer and focuses on providing LOs with the tools, support, and resources needed to be competitive, including strong pricing, broad product options, responsive processing, knowledgeable support, effective technology, and great communication. The goal is to allow talented Loan Officers to focus on relationships and production while the company provides the necessary infrastructure. They offer protected territories to minimize internal competition, straightforward compensation without complicated tiers, and no fees to their Loan Officers or borrowers for processing, software, technology, or in-house marketing. Support includes salaried in-house processors, licensed LOA assistance, in-house marketing resources, and provided technology. Leadership, including the broker/owner who actively originates, offers mentorship, scenario assistance, and business development support. The company emphasizes independence for experienced originators to build their own referral relationships and markets.

Requirements

Active NMLS number and prior mortgage origination experience
Active MLO license in a state where Southern Mortgage Solutions operates, or ability to obtain appropriate licensure
Relationship-driven and comfortable developing referral partners
Motivated to generate and grow your own production
Strong mortgage knowledge and ability to structure loan scenarios
Excellent communication with clients and referral partners
Self-sufficient and able to thrive in a 100% remote environment
Experienced Mortgage Loan Originator who wants to self-generate and grow their own book of business
Understand the mortgage business
Value referral relationships
Have the drive to create your own opportunities
