About The Position

Charlie Health is hiring licensed or pre-licensed mental health therapists and counselors to provide mental health services to adolescent and young adult clients. The role is based in-office in Austin, Texas, and may be full-time or part-time W-2 employment. Part-time clinicians work at least 12 hours per week with flexible scheduling; full-time clinicians work 40 hours per week. Evening availability is needed to meet client needs. Charlie Health’s Operations team manages administrative work so clinicians can focus on care. The organization offers predictable schedules and steady caseloads, a full-time Admissions & Assessment team, clinician case discussions, and groups capped at eight clients to support strong client relationships and in-depth therapeutic work.

Requirements

Hold an independent or associate mental health license in Texas. Accepted licenses include LMSW, LPC-A, MFT-A, LCSW, LPC, and LMFT.
Have a master's degree in mental health or a related field.
Be available to work 12–40 hours per week, depending on part-time or full-time status.
Be available for evening work to meet client needs.
Be familiar with cloud-based tools such as Gmail, Slack, Zoom, and Dropbox, as well as EMR and outcomes software.
Be confident integrating multiple therapeutic modalities, including DBT, CBT, EMDR, and MI.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with youth and young adults.
Experience with teens and young adults is highly preferred.
MI certification.

Collaborative, creative, and engaging on video.
