Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LPC)
About The Position
Backpack Healthcare is expanding into Arizona and seeking licensed mental health therapists (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) for flexible, part-time, remote work. This is an opportunity to join a clinician-led, minority-owned company early in its market establishment, helping to shape care for children, teens, and young adults. The role involves providing individual and family therapy via telehealth, with a focus on client-centered, trauma-informed treatment plans and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. Backpack Healthcare handles referrals and administrative tasks, allowing therapists to focus on patient care and build their own schedules, primarily during weekday afternoons and evenings, with weekend availability being a plus.
Requirements
- Active Arizona license: LPC, LMFT or LCSW
- Experience with children, teens, and families (or a strong interest in this population)
- Comfortable working independently in a remote setting
- Committed to trauma-informed, culturally responsive practice

Responsibilities
- Carry a caseload of 15–22 sessions per week, providing individual and family therapy via telehealth.
- Conduct assessments and build client-centered, trauma-informed treatment plans.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including therapists, PMHNPs, and psychiatrists.
- Maintain timely documentation in the EHR.
- Support families with education and care coordination.
