About The Position

Merakey is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Professional to join their team in New Orleans, LA. This role involves providing individual and group therapy, leading mini treatment teams, and developing and implementing client treatment plans. The professional will also be responsible for maintaining client charts and ensuring the timeliness and quality of documentation.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Human Services related field, such as Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling; AND 1 year of PAID clinical experience, post master’s required.
• LPC or LCSW fully licensed.
• Must have appropriate state and federal clearances.
• Must hold a valid drivers license and have reliable transportation.

• Experience working with chronically mentally ill adults and/or dual diagnosis.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy, choosing applicable modalities according to individual needs and treatment plan.
• Provide mini treatment team leadership and recovery based, person centered services.
• Develop, write, implement, evaluate, and revise, as necessary, individual's treatment plans in collaboration with the Treatment Team.
• Monitor record-keeping ensure that client charts are up-to-date and include all necessary documentation.
• Ensure timeliness and quality of treatment plans and develop progress notes.
