About The Position

Backpack Healthcare is seeking licensed mental health therapists for part-time, remote work in Virginia. The position focuses on providing online mental health care for children, teens, and young adults, covered by most insurance. Requirements

• Active Virginia license: LPC, LPC-R, LCSW, or LMSW
• Experience with children, teens, and families
• Comfortable working independently in a remote setting
• Committed to trauma-informed, culturally responsive practice

Responsibilities

• Carry a caseload of 15–22 sessions per week, providing individual and family therapy via telehealth.
• Conduct intakes and build client-centered, trauma-informed treatment plans.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including therapists, PMHNPs, and psychiatrists.
• Maintain timely documentation in the EHR.
• Support families with education and care coordination.
