About The Position

Backpack Healthcare provides mental health care for children, teens, and young adults — all online, covered by most insurance. We're clinician-led and minority-owned, and we're growing fast across Illinois, particularly among Spanish-speaking families who've had too few options for too long. Requirements

• Active Maryland license: LGPC, LCPC, LMSW, LMFT or LCSW-C
• Experience with children, teens, and families
• Comfortable working independently in a remote setting
• Grounded in trauma-informed, culturally responsive practice

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual English/Spanish — strongly preferred, not just a nice-to-have

Responsibilities

• Carry a caseload of 15–36 sessions per week (part-time or full-time) providing individual, family, and group therapy via telehealth.
• Conduct intakes and build client-centered, trauma-informed treatment plans.
• Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team — therapists, PMHNPs, and psychiatrists working together.
• Maintain timely documentation in our EHR.
• Support families with education and care coordination, not just the child in the room.
