About The Position

This role leverages in-person and Telehealth care, meeting our clients where they're at and allowing for a hybrid clinician schedule when appropriate. Ellie Mental Health is a highly successful multi-clinic mental health organization originally based in Minnesota; however, Ellie in Boise is locally owned and operated. The owner and Director are lifelong Idahoans committed to expanding mental health services in our community. Our vision is to operate a small but mighty clinic with a dedicated team of kickass therapists who support one another in providing excellent services to our clients and the larger community. Ellie is a socially responsible for-profit business, which allows us to be flexible and responsive to our community’s needs. Many mental health and wellness-focused companies are non-profits or government agencies, which rely on the general public, grants, or large donors for funding. This model often results in little creativity and lower compensation for employees, promoting a work culture that just makes people feel “blah.” Feeling blah doesn’t help employees stay motivated, engaged, or even in their jobs for a very long time! So we created a new model: one that puts flexibility, innovative decision-making, creativity, and our people first, while remaining a socially conscious and responsible for-profit business focused on changing how we treat mental health. Requirements

Candidates are required to have a master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university and be on track to obtain licensure in their designated field or be currently enrolled in a Master's program at an accredited college or university pursuing the degree and accompanying licensure
Candidates should have or be pursuing licensure (LMFT, LPC, LCPC, LMSW, LCSW)
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner
Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
Proficient in the use of typical office technology (computers, e-mail, etc.) and Electronic Health Record systems (Valant experience a plus!)
Desire to work in a collaborative atmosphere that embodies Ellie’s values (creativity, authenticity, humor, compassion, acceptance, determination)

Responsibilities

Complete and evaluate mental health diagnostic assessments, create and implement a treatment plan, complete ongoing documentation including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes according to company policy
Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community
Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol
Attend and participate in clinical staff meetings and trainings
