Licensed Mental Health Therapist (Richmond, Virginia)
About The Position
Charlie Health is seeking exceptional Licensed Mental Health Therapists/Counselors to provide remote, telehealth services to adolescent and young adult clients. The role involves enhancing programming and providing high-quality care through virtual means. Positions are available as part-time or full-time W-2 employees. Part-time requires a minimum of 12 hours per week with flexible scheduling. Full-time requires 40 hours per week, including evening and Saturday availability. The company emphasizes a strong employee experience, with operations handling administrative tasks, and offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. Clinicians are encouraged to focus on providing care, with support from dedicated teams. Collaboration through case discussions is encouraged for skill development. The role allows for building strong client relationships with a maximum of 8 clients per group, facilitating in-depth work for sustainable healing. Free Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are provided for ongoing professional development.
Requirements
- MUST HOLD AN INDEPENDENT OR ASSOCIATE LICENSURE IN VIRGINIA
- Licenses Accepted: LMSW, Temporary License as a Resident in Counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy (Registration of Supervision) LCSW, LPC, LMFT
- Master’s degree in mental health or related field
- Experience with youth/young adults highly preferred
- Availability between 12-40 hours/week depending on part-time or full-time W2
- Familiar with cloud-based tools (Gmail, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox), EMR, and outcomes software
- Available evenings to meet client needs
- Committed to self-care and addressing the rural mental health crisis

Responsibilities
- Provide telehealth services to adolescents and young adults in a virtual setting.
- Integrate multiple modalities such as DBT, CBT, and EMDR.
