About The Position

Merakey is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Professional to join its team in Lafayette, Louisiana. The role provides individual and group therapy using modalities suited to each person’s needs and treatment plan. It also includes mini treatment team leadership and delivery of recovery-based, person-centered services. The professional collaborates with the Treatment Team to develop, write, implement, evaluate, and revise individual treatment plans. They monitor client records to ensure charts are current and complete, and ensure treatment plans and progress notes are timely and of high quality. Compensation is $32.31 per hour, plus a $7,500 annual mileage stipend.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a human services-related field, such as Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling.
• Fully licensed as an LPC or LCSW.
• Have appropriate state and federal clearances.
• Hold a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy, selecting modalities according to individual needs and treatment plans.
• Provide mini treatment team leadership and recovery-based, person-centered services.
• Develop, write, implement, evaluate, and revise individual treatment plans in collaboration with the Treatment Team.
• Monitor record-keeping to ensure client charts are up to date and contain necessary documentation.
• Ensure the timeliness and quality of treatment plans and develop progress notes.
