About The Position
Merakey is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Professional to join its team in Lafayette, Louisiana. The role provides individual and group therapy using modalities appropriate to each person's needs and treatment plan. It also provides mini treatment team leadership and recovery-based, person-centered services. The professional develops, writes, implements, evaluates, and revises individual treatment plans in collaboration with the Treatment Team. The role monitors record-keeping to ensure client charts are current and contain required documentation, and ensures treatment plans and progress notes are timely and high quality.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a human services-related field, such as Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling.
- Fully licensed LPC or LCSW.
- Appropriate state and federal clearances.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

- Experience working with chronically mentally ill adults and/or people with dual diagnosis.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group therapy using modalities suited to individual needs and treatment plans.
- Provide mini treatment team leadership.
- Deliver recovery-based, person-centered services.
- Develop, write, implement, evaluate, and revise individual treatment plans in collaboration with the Treatment Team.
- Monitor record-keeping and ensure client charts are current and include required documentation.
- Ensure the timeliness and quality of treatment plans and develop progress notes.
