About The Position

CHE Behavioral Health Services is hiring Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHCs) to join our clinician-led, APA-approved behavioral health team. Requirements

• Master’s degree
• Active LMHC license
• We do not accept associate or limited licenses.

Responsibilities

• Review schedule, check for new referrals, and note any changes in residents’ conditions.
• Meet with residents throughout the day for brief, focused therapy sessions (support, coping skills, mood, adjustment).
• Complete initial assessments and update treatment plans for new or ongoing residents.
• Collaborate with nurses, rehab staff, and providers to discuss care needs and any behavioral concerns.
• Document sessions, treatment plans, and required notes to meet compliance and billing standards.
• Connect with family members when needed and plan schedule and follow-ups for the next day.
