About The Position

Cotler Psychology Services is seeking Florida-licensed Master's-level clinicians (LCSW, LMHC, or Licensed Psychologist) to provide behavioral health services in assisted living facilities and skilled nursing communities throughout Florida. The position is available part time or full time and offers scheduling flexibility. Clinicians provide psychotherapy, behavioral health assessments, and supportive counseling to residents experiencing concerns related to aging, chronic medical conditions, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, cognitive decline, adjustment disorders, and major life transitions. The role involves building therapeutic relationships while working independently with support from an experienced multidisciplinary team.

Cotler Psychology Services has specialized in behavioral health care for seniors for more than 30 years and partners with more than 100 long-term care communities statewide. Its mission is to enhance older adults’ emotional well-being and quality of life through ethical, individualized, evidence-based mental health services.

Requirements

• Florida licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or Licensed Psychologist.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and evaluations.
• Provide individual psychotherapy and counseling services.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment interventions as appropriate.
• Collaborate with facility staff, families, and healthcare providers to coordinate care.
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation within the electronic health record (EHR).
• Participate in ongoing clinical consultations and professional development opportunities.
• Maintain compliance with state, federal, and organizational regulations and standards.
