Licensed Massage Therapist - Part Time

About The Position

The Licensed Massage Therapist provides quality massage services to Washington Athletic Club members using a range of modalities, including deep tissue and Swedish massage. The role delivers attentive customer service, works with the Spa Manager and other Spa Team Members to promote and improve programs and services, keeps current with massage training and spa trends through continuing education, and assists with spa upkeep and client scheduling. The position is part-time.

Requirements

A minimum of two years of experience as a massage therapist.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Current Washington State Massage License.
Strong communication skills and a customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

Provide massage services such as deep tissue, Swedish, or other modalities using an electrical spa treatment table, portable massage table, and chairs.
Deliver exceptional customer service by attending to client concerns and expectations.
Work with the Spa Manager and other Spa Team Members to market, promote, and improve programs and services.
Stay current on massage training and spa trends through continuing education.
Assist with upkeep of spa areas and client scheduling.
Participate in Spa staff meetings as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
