Licensed Massage Therapist- Part-time/OnCall
About The Position
Costa d'Este Beach Resort & Spa, a luxury resort in Vero Beach, Florida, is seeking a Licensed Massage Therapist to perform massage and body treatments for resort and local guests. The role includes operating and troubleshooting massage equipment, following spa protocols, and becoming knowledgeable about the spa’s treatments and products. The therapist also helps maintain clean, sanitized, stocked, and organized spa, locker, tranquility, supply, and fitness-center areas. The position is part-time/on-call and may involve varying shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends. Candidates must be graduates of Esthetics school, have at least two years of experience in the salon/spa resort industry, and hold a Professional Massage Therapy License issued by the State of Florida. Requirements
- Graduate of Esthetics school.
- At least two years of experience in the salon/spa resort industry.
- Professional Massage Therapy License issued by the State of Florida.
- Detailed and self-starting.
- Strong customer service focus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle guest issues effectively.
- Ability to work varying shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Team player who communicates positively with coworkers and guests.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.
Responsibilities
- Operate and troubleshoot all massage equipment.
- Perform massages and body treatments according to spa protocol.
- Become knowledgeable about all treatments and products available at the spa.
- Keep the work area clean, stocked, and sanitized.
- Keep the spa locker area clean and stocked.
- Keep the tranquility room clean and presentable.
- Keep the supply room clean and organized.
- Stock towels at the fitness center when needed.
- Remove used towels from spa locker rooms and the fitness center.
- Greet guests professionally and in a friendly manner, communicate positively with guests and coworkers, and handle guest issues effectively.
