About The Position

L.A. Stevens & Associates, Inc. is a well-established professional Land Surveying firm located in Novato, Marin County, California, with thirty years of experience throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. We are seeking a Licensed Land Surveyor (LSIT or PLS or Survey Party Chief) interested in working as a Project Surveyor. Individuals working with us enjoy being professional team members while having the opportunity to work on projects independently.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift loads of 40+ pounds.
• Must be able to work in and around poison oak.
• Must have a clean driving record as reported by the Department of Motor Vehicles of the State in which the applicant’s driver’s license is issued.
• Proficient and demonstrate skill in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Proficient and demonstrate skill in MS Office Suite.
• Proficient and demonstrate skill in Written and Verbal Communication.

• Work produced by L.A. Stevens & Associates, Inc. includes simple & complex boundaries, land title surveys (ALTA), topographic mapping, least squares, adjustments, monitoring, forensic, GPS, Elevation Certificates.

Responsibilities

• Map preparation.
• Legal descriptions.
• Construction staking.
