About The Position
Currently hiring licensed journeymen electricians to join the team in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment in a data center setting. The position requires working 55–60 or more hours per week. Pay is $64 per hour, plus $175 per diem for each day worked for workers who live more than 60 miles away. Applicants must have a valid Iowa journeyman or apprentice electrical license, or a reciprocating license.
Requirements
- Current active Iowa Journeyman Electrician License, or the ability to reciprocate into Iowa before starting.
- Experience with conduit installation, cable tray, feeders, and terminations.
- Ability to work 55–60 hours per week.

- Commercial and/or data center electrical experience.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in a data center environment.
- Install EMT, rigid, and PVC conduit.
- Install cable tray, pull and terminate feeders, power, and control wiring.
- Install and connect switchgear, panels, transformers, and electrical equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, one-line diagrams, and electrical schematics.
- Perform work in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and site safety requirements.
