About The Position

Moss is the #1 Solar EPC and is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Journeyman to support our electrical team in Belen, New Mexico. This is a full-time, non-exempt, hourly position.

Requirements

• Must be Licensed in New Mexico.
• Must enjoy working outdoors in all types of weather.
• Must be able to walk, stand, kneel, and lift heavy materials, adhering to all safety standards.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the project site.
• Ability to convey a positive and professional attitude, adhering to Moss core values.
• A pre-employment drug screening is required to ensure a safe work environment.
• State Journeyman license for the state employed in New Mexico.
• Minimum of High School diploma.
• Proficiency in using electrical tools and testing equipment for solar installations.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving dynamic environment with ability to handle a high-pressure environment, and prioritize work effectively.
• Detail oriented, organized, and efficient individual able to complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner.

Responsibilities

• Supervise multiple electrical crews ensuring compliance with state statutes.
• Supervise, mentor, and train apprentices.
• Ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety procedures.
• Run electrical wiring for DC and AC circuits according to project specifications and local codes.
• Diagnosing and resolving electrical issues within solar PV systems.
• Performing routine inspections and maintenance checks on solar installations.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with state and local building codes and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
