About The Position

Moss, the #1 Solar EPC Contractor of 2025, is seeking motivated Licensed Electrical Apprentices to support our utility-scale solar project in Belen, NM. If you're eager to learn the electrical trade, work alongside experienced electricians, and build a career in renewable energy, we'd love to hear from you. No previous solar experience is required but will need electrical knowledge. Must be Licensed in New México. This is a great opportunity for individuals with a strong work ethic who are looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical construction industry.

Requirements

Must be Licensed in New México
Electrical knowledge
Ability to work well as part of a team
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the workday
Reliable transportation to and from the project site
Commitment to safety and quality workmanship

Nice To Haves

Previous construction or electrical experience is preferred but not required
Enrollment in or willingness to enroll in a state-approved electrical apprenticeship program is a plus
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Responsibilities

Assist licensed electricians with the installation of DC and AC electrical systems on utility-scale solar projects
Help install conduit, wire, cable trays, and electrical equipment
Read and interpret basic drawings and project layouts with guidance from experienced team members
Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Learn electrical installation techniques while following company safety standards
Support daily project activities as directed by field leadership
Perform other duties as assigned
