About The Position
Provide remote behavioral health care to clients in Iowa, focusing on independent clinical social work, mental health support, care planning, and client-centered therapy. The role involves understanding how mental health, stress, systems, and practical barriers affect client progress. The position is full-time and remote/telehealth, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and an annual salary of $115,000–$120,000.
Requirements
- Hold an active Iowa LISW license in good standing.
- Have a master’s degree in a relevant behavioral health field appropriate for Licensed Independent Social Worker licensure.
- Hold full clinical licensure; temporary, associate, intern, or probationary licenses are not intended for this role.
- Have a private workspace and stable internet connection, and maintain professionalism during remote sessions.

Responsibilities
- Deliver remote behavioral health services to clients in the clinician’s licensed state.
- Consider psychosocial factors, support systems, stressors, and client strengths during care planning.
- Build rapport through video sessions while maintaining clear therapeutic boundaries.
- Use evidence-informed interventions that match clients’ goals and readiness.
- Track treatment progress and update clinical records after sessions.
- Follow legal, ethical, and professional requirements for virtual care.
