Degree Heating & Cooling is an established company with over 30 years of experience providing top tier service and quality products in many areas around the Glastonbury, CT area. At Degree Heating & Cooling, we’re looking for an experienced Licensed HVAC Lead Installer who takes pride in quality work, leadership, and customer experience. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll lead install crews, mentor apprentices, and complete high-quality residential and light commercial HVAC installations. Requirements
- Connecticut HVAC License (S-2, D-2, or equivalent)
- 3+ years of HVAC installation experience preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to read blueprints and installation plans
- Comfortable using tablets/apps for work orders and notes
- Valid driver’s license
- Team-oriented mindset with pride in quality workmanship
Responsibilities
- Lead residential and light commercial HVAC installations
- Train and mentor apprentice installers
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues on-site
- Ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and correctly
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and customers
- Maintain truck stock, tools, and job documentation
- Perform system startups and calibrations to manufacturer standards
