About The Position

Degree Heating & Cooling is seeking an experienced Licensed HVAC Lead Installer to join their team. This is a hands-on leadership role where the successful candidate will lead install crews, mentor apprentices, and complete high-quality residential and light commercial HVAC installations. Requirements

• Connecticut HVAC License (S-2, D-2, or equivalent)
• 3+ years of HVAC installation experience preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to read blueprints and installation plans
• Comfortable using tablets/apps for work orders and notes
• Valid driver’s license
• Team-oriented mindset with pride in quality workmanship

Responsibilities

• Lead residential and light commercial HVAC installations
• Train and mentor apprentice installers
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues on-site
• Ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and correctly
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and customers
• Maintain truck stock, tools, and job documentation
• Perform system startups and calibrations to manufacturer standards
