This position involves exercising safe working practices, cleaning, and complying with Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures. The role requires troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery and electrical equipment, including motors, electrical circuits, SICK ATR systems, baggage handling equipment, and conveyor systems. This is done in accordance with diagrams, electrical drawings, operational manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications, using hand tools and precision measuring and testing instruments. The job also emphasizes excellent customer service, preparing and executing service calls (Emergency Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance), reporting service calls internally and to the customer, and advising on and executing system optimizations in consultation with a supervisor. Additional duties include analyzing system performance, monitoring systems from a Control Room, controlling and proposing improvements for the service process quality, developing service supporting tools, performing Preventive Maintenance and following up on CM work orders, un-jamming conveyors, researching and requesting spare parts, performing inventory counts, and completing CMMS Service Reports, Parts Usage, and Warranty Records.
