About The Position

Sirve como enlace entre el médico, el equipo de tratamiento y personal de facturación y cobros para garantizar que los recursos para el tratamiento, el avance en los objetivos, los plantes de alta y otros asuntos relacionados le sean comunicados eficientemente al paciente, así como a todas aquellas personas envueltas en el tratamiento. Coordina el cuidado a paciente desde la admisión hasta el alta, a través de la continuidad de servicios.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work/Psychology or a related behavioral science area.
• Must possess knowledge in psychiatric care.
• Experience in utilization review, medical plans, and disbursement procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze complex data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations.
• Proficiency in computerized systems.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English).

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between the physician, treatment team, and billing and collections staff to ensure that treatment resources, progress towards goals, discharge plans, and other related matters are efficiently communicated to the patient, as well as to all those involved in the treatment.
• Coordinate patient care from admission to discharge, through continuity of services.
