About The Position
Gracie Square Hospital is seeking a part-time Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT) to join their Therapeutic Activities team. This role involves providing functional assessments and therapeutic activities specifically designed for patients with psychiatric illnesses and disorders. The goal is to help patients prepare for their return to their families and lead fulfilling lives. This is a part-time position on weekdays, specifically Mondays and Fridays.
Requirements
- Master's Degree
- NYS Licensed Creative Arts Therapy Registration (LCAT)
Nice To Haves
- BLS Certification with American Heart Association
- Previous experience in the field
Responsibilities
- Provide functional assessments for patients.
- Develop and implement therapeutic activities tailored to individual patient needs and treatment goals.
- Work with patients who have psychiatric illnesses and disorders.
