Through individualized treatment plans, we support adolescents and adults experiencing mental health, substance use, and eating disorders. We are seeking a compassionate and creative Part-Time Creative Arts Therapist to join our team. Requirements

Master's degree in a clinical or behavioral health field required.
For Music Therapist candidates supporting Substance Use Disorder programs, a Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy is acceptable.
Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team.

Nice To Haves

Board certification is preferred (ATR-BC, MT-BC, or BC-DMT); candidates actively pursuing board certification will also be considered.
LPC or LCSW preferred, but not required.
Experience providing individual and group therapy in a behavioral health setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Utilize creative arts modalities (such as art, music, dance/movement, drama, or expressive arts) to promote emotional growth, self-expression, and therapeutic progress.
Plan and facilitate individual and group creative arts therapy sessions.
Prepare materials and activities for therapeutic groups and interventions.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams to provide coordinated client care.
Assess clients' behavioral, emotional, and therapeutic needs through creative arts interventions.
Complete documentation within required timeframes in collaboration with the treatment team.
Maintain flexibility to provide coverage based on program needs.
Attend required trainings, staff meetings, supervision, and clinical consultations.
Maintain a safe, therapeutic, and supportive environment, including assisting with crisis intervention when needed.
Maintain professional and ethical boundaries with clients.
Travel between York and Harrisburg locations as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
