About The Position
Thriveworks is seeking Licensed Clinicians to provide a mix of telehealth and face-to-face sessions in Roanoke, VA. This role is eligible for a competitive ramp stipend for clinicians offering 30+ hours of availability per week. Thriveworks is a clinician-founded mental health care company established in 2008, now with over 340 locations and a nationwide hybrid care model serving over 175,000 clients annually. We partner with health systems and primary care providers, believing mental health is integral to physical health. We are hiring licensed clinicians to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to our clients nationwide. Ideal candidates are independently licensed in Virginia (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, PhD), consistently available for a minimum of 25 sessions with 30 hours of availability weekly, and are behavioral health generalists open to treating diverse clients, including couples and children. A commitment to helping clients achieve measurable progress and confidence in using modern clinical technology (telehealth, EHR) are essential. Strong teamwork and positive contributions to our clinical community are valued. Specialties in couples and family counseling are preferred, subject to client demand.
Requirements
- Independently licensed and living in Virginia (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, PhD)
- Consistently available to clients for a minimum of 25 sessions with 30 hours of availability weekly
- A behavioral health generalist who is open to treating a variety of clients, including couples and children
- Invested in helping your clients achieve measurable progress
- Confident working with modern clinical technology, including telehealth and EHR tools
- A good teammate — we’re building a clinical community and value positive contributors
