Licensed Counselor (LCSW, LPC, LMSW, or LAPC)
About The Position
Clarvida is seeking a Licensed Counselor (LCSW, LPC, LMSW, or LAPC) to join their ACT team. This role involves advocating for and working with assigned adult clients. The team includes specialists in housing, vocational services, therapy, medical, and substance use. The Licensed Counselor will conduct initial behavioral health assessments, develop treatment plans based on client strengths, challenges, and support systems, and provide regular individual, family, and group counseling. The position also includes client transportation as needed, a one-week on-call rotation every six weeks (handled virtually or in person), and primarily meeting with clients in the local community.
Requirements
- Licensed as LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMSW, APC, LAMFT
- Knowledge of community resources.
- Knowledge of and sensitivity to cultural diversity and dual diagnosed mental health populations.
Responsibilities
- Advocate for and work with assigned adult clients.
- Conduct initial behavioral health assessments.
- Engage clients in the development of treatment plans noting their strengths, challenges, and support systems.
- Meet with clients regularly, providing individual, family, and group counseling.
- Regularly assess client strengths and mental health treatment needs.
- Provide client transportation as needed.
- Participate in a one-week on-call rotation every six weeks, handled virtually or in person.
- Meet with clients in the local community primarily.
